Clean Hydrogen for Decarbonization
Hydrogen has the potential to revolutionize transportation, reduce dependence on traditional energy sources, and impact climate change. However, historical production methods such as steam methane reforming and hydrolysis have not proven to be environmentally sound or scalable.
MAAT Energy's response to these challenges is our low temperature plasma technology, which is efficient for production of zero-emissions hydrogen and syngas to decarbonize natural gas for use across aviation, shipping, and trucking. The carbon savings can be realized economically at small and large scale production.
MAAT Energy™ uses mass-produced microwave sources to inexpensively convert natural gas into hydrogen and valuable carbon solids using plasma technology. The low-carbon intensity hydrogen produced with our modular systems can be used in chemical and petroleum industries, as well as to satisfy hydrogen needs for transportation.
